“Personal responsibility is the key to the successful fight against COVID-19. Properly wearing a mask, Washing your hands well with soap and running water, Social Distancing and Sanitizing are all personal responsibilities that every one of us should take seriously if we are to defeat this disease,” Governor Kuti Said.
Dr. Kuti also reaffirmed that all the County Governments are well prepared for the fight against the spread of this highly infectious and deadly disease by the formation of respective Response committees.
The committees he stated are co-chaired by the respective County Governors and County Commissioners and structures cascaded to the wards level.
On the on-going heavy rains which have caused havoc to many people following floods, the Governor has appealed to Isiolo residents who are living along river Ewaso Ng’iro to move to safer grounds as his Government prepares for intervention.
