Governor Lee Kinyanjui is a happy man, at least for now.
The Nakuru County Assembly has given a nod to a Sh2.7 billion development expenditure from the county’s consolidated fund.
The MCAs unanimously passed the Supplementary Appropriation Bill for development expenditure for the year ending June 30, 2020.
The Bill will be forwarded to Governor Lee Kinyanjui for assent, after which the money will be available for development purposes.
It is expected that the many stalled development projects at the ward level will be completed.
