Isiolo has joined the unfortunate list of the 18 counties with confirmed Coronavirus positive cases in Kenya.
According to Health CAS Rashid Aman, one of the 25 latest confirmed cases is a resident of Isiolo County.
Out of the 25, Nairobi leads with 17 cases, two from Wajir, two from Kajiado, and one each from Migori and Mombasa counties.
A total of 607 people have so far tested positive for the disease countrywide.
Early April, Isiolo County Commissioner Herman Shambi allayed fears of coronavirus in Isiolo amid growing panic by residents following a case of a man who jetted into the country from Qatar on March 16.

Neighbors raised alarm after the man refused to self-quarantine, and instead started freely interacting with friends.
It has however emerged that the man was indeed Coronavirus positive, having been tested in forced quarantine.
EASTLEIGH LINKS
Eastleigh has in the last two weeks been making headlines, being the main Coronavirus hotspot in Nairobi.
According to County Commissioner Shambi, the close link between Isiolo and Eastleigh cannot be overlooked.
Isiolo town serves as a major link between the Northern parts of the country and Nairobi, with Eastleigh being a major destination.
“I have received reports of people sneaking from Eastleigh to Isiolo. We have to be careful not to import more cases from Nairobi,” says Shambi in an interview with a local Radio station.
